I love great song lyrics.  This blog is about shining a light on inspired lyrics.  Posts may focus on well known lyrics by famous writers like Bob Dylan and Leonard Cohen or lesser known but equally powerful songwriters like Mark Kozelek and Danny Michel .  I aim to have one post a week and on occasion have guest writers highlight song lyrics that connect deeply with them.

This blog is not about pointing out weak lyrics.  Every lyric featured is meant to inspire.  I truely appreciate your time in reading anything I write.  To be honest, I’m starting this blog to get my head space back into songwriting as it has been a while and hope the pressure of find great song lyrics on a weekly basis will motivate my own songwriting. We will see how it goes….
